1. Project elements:

• Adds one new down river Southbound bridge as CRC proposes for three through & three auxiliary lanes.
• Keeps existing bridges for Northbound for three through & three auxiliary lanes.
• Partly rebuilds only the SR14 interchange because of the altitude difference for the new bridge.
• Recognizes that there is little demand for transit (only 1650 people use transit daily) with cost effective transit running in congestion free general purpose lanes.
• Separates bikes and pedestrians on different sides of the existing bridges. (one bridge for Northbound and one for Southbound.)
• Recognized that breakdown lanes are not worth $¾ billion.
• Recognized that Billion dollar transit is not appropriate for a crossing that only carries 1650 people daily.

This proposal addresses all of the goals of the original project at ¼ or less the cost. A cost so low, that tolls may not be needed. If tolls are needed they should not be over a dollar a crossing.
